This district wasn’t even on the GOP’s initial radar as a competitive district in 2018. But Max ran an unbelievable grassroots campaign, without taking one cent from corporate PACs or federal lobbyists. And after pulling off a shocking victory in NY-11, he wasted no time getting to work for the families of Staten Island and South Brooklyn.
Max cut through the red tape that had been holding up construction on the East Shore seawall. He's also led the fight to permanently protect the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, and he's been a key voice advocating for legislation to fight the opioid epidemic. Trust us, we could go on and on about all the things Max is fighting for in Congress.
The fact is that no one is more dedicated to serving NY-11 than Max, and he's a critical voice to holding this administration accountable.
But we can promise you, that won’t stop the Washington GOP from coming after Max with everything they have. They already hand-picked a candidate to run against Max, and have launched attack ads on the internet to smear him.
