Johh,

We live in a country where gun violence has touched all our lives in some way or another, even those who have not experienced a mass shooting first-hand.

Our lives have become entrenched in these moments, from being children in a classroom and practicing lockdown drills to losing friends to mass shootings and even being afraid to shop in our favorite grocery store. Unless we take action, this will continue to be the American reality of loss, devastation, and violence.

Like so many Coloradans, Diana has seen this violence and its devastating aftermath up close. Gun violence has brought senseless suffering to our people and our communities, whether in Denver, Aurora, Boulder, or across our state. But unlike other politicians who have seen this violence and chosen to fall into lockstep with the NRA, Diana is committed to doing something about it.

Two weeks ago, the House passed Diana's Keep Americans Safe Act, a revolutionary piece of legislation that will BAN high-capacity gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds. If you support Diana's bill, join us in calling on the Senate to take action >>

We owe it to the gun violence survivors, their families and all Coloradans to take meaningful action now to address our gun violence crisis. For too long, Congress has stalled on life-saving legislation to appease special interests and offer nothing but thoughts and prayers.

Now, as we are finally seeing our country get ready to move forward, we need to make sure that this moment is not lost to passivity. No more thoughts and prayers. No more waiting. The time to act on gun violence is now!

For years, Diana has proudly stood as an advocate for gun safety reform and now we're on the verge of a breakthrough. Will you sign this petition to show your support for Diana's efforts to keep Americans safe? Add your name >> [link removed]
