Friend,

Today, I'm making a simple yet important request: a $5 donation.

One donation may not sound like a lot, but I promise: It could make all the difference in our fight to keep this seat blue and protect Democratic control of the Senate. When people like you step up by the thousands to chip in to this campaign, it means we have the resources to fend off relentless GOP attacks and run an aggressive, successful campaign.

And truth be told, we can't afford for a single supporter to stay on the sidelines right now:

If Mitch McConnell takes back the Senate – which he could do by flipping just a single Democratic seat – he could use a majority to pass a federal abortion ban. He could block any consideration of gun safety legislation. He could prevent evidence of Donald Trump's wrongdoings from being made public. He has already said he would block any nomination to fill an opening on the Supreme Court. But right now, his GOP Senate campaign group has more than $45 million in the bank to make that happen.

As I have for years, I will go toe to toe with McConnell, Trump, and any right-wing Republican who's hellbent on pushing an extremist, out-of-touch agenda on the American people. But it's going to take your $5, Friend, to make sure I can succeed. I'm up against a big, public FEC reporting deadline this month – and it's your $ that will show the strength of our grassroots campaign. It's your $5 that will enable me to fight, win, and protect Democratic Senate control.

So please, before this FEC deadline: Will you donate $5 or more to help me protect this seat and ensure we keep control of the Senate?

Dick
