Breaking the Cycle of Gun Violence
After the mass shootings in Buffalo, New York and Uvalde, Texas, Mikie promised to take action on gun violence devastating our communities. Last week, she did. Mikie voted for gun-safety measures that are proven to reduce violence, [[link removed]] including raising the age for buying an assault weapon, closing loopholes for ghost guns and bump stocks, and teaching gun owners how to safely store firearms.
Honoring our Fallen Servicemen & Women
Mikie honored the memories of the men and women who gave their lives for our country at Memorial Day observances in Little Falls, Morris Plains [[link removed]] , Morristown, Nutley [[link removed]] , and elsewhere across the district.

Mikie visited County College of Morris with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg [[link removed]] to see how colleges and local businesses are working together to train the next generation and build a strong, innovative workforce. Mikie is working with Secretary Buttigieg and her colleagues in Congress to strengthen our economy, create jobs, and make our country a leader in innovation.
Getting Baby Formula to Families in Need
Over 40% of infant formula is out of stock across the country. As a mom of four, Mikie understands how scary the shortage is for parents. Mikie joined other mothers in Congress to call for a stronger response to the shortage [[link removed]] to get formula to parents in need and make sure no child goes hungry.

The latest developments in the NJ-11 race
We made it through the primary! We officially have our GOP opponent for Election Day. He's a right-wing election denier who doesn't support commonsense policies to reduce gun violence. Needless to say, he's wrong for NJ-11.
The second-to-last FEC quarterly deadline of the election year is less than two weeks away. We set an end-of-quarter goal and we need everyone pitching in to reach it by the June 30th deadline.
