Like so many other survivors, I’m beyond disgusted that Republicans offer nothing but “thoughts and prayers” and the same tired excuses over and over again.
The GOP’s willingness to rake in NRA cash at the expense of our lives and futures is exactly why I’m running for Congress — not only to save my former boss’ Gabby Giffords’ seat, but to take firm action against the vicious gun lobby.
Look, as a gun violence survivor, I will never, ever give up on the fight for gun reform in Congress. But in a race this close, I need your help to get there.
