This year, we took popular Chinese actor Eddie Peng on a journey to learn about the complex issues sea turtles face. Eddie was so inspired by the experience, he is now calling for immediate action to save sea turtles from extinction.

“I hope I can inspire the audience to take action, starting with simple things such as never buying sea turtle products, reducing our use of single-use plastics, and choosing certified sustainable seafood,” he says. 

Our three-part series filmed with Eddie, Between the Sea and Shore, will be broadcast on Youku, one of China’s top online video and streaming services, reaching 500 million monthly active users and accruing 800 million daily video views.
