GEORGIA JOBS HIT ALL-TIME HIGH |
Governor Kemp ran on a promise to put hardworking Georgians first, and he’s delivered. The latest data released by the Georgia Department of Labor shows that unemployment in the Peach State has dropped to a record low of 3%, as the number of jobs has reached an all-time high of 4,782,400! Governor Kemp has worked hard to keep Georgia the #1 state for business.
In 2021, our state had its best year ever in terms of economic development, with 33,400 job announcements and approximately $11 billion of investment. And through the first three quarters of the current fiscal year, we’re beating those numbers, with 35,000 jobs announced and $12.9 billion in investment.

The good news is Governor Kemp has taken action to provide relief at the pump. Late last month, he signed an executive order to extend the suspension of state gas taxes through July 14th. Today, our state has the cheapest gas in the nation.
While we can’t fix everything Washington has broken, Governor Kemp will continue to look for ways to provide relief to Georgia families as we feel the impact of Bidenflation. |

A recent poll conducted by ECU Center for Survey Research shows that Governor Kemp currently holds a five-point lead over Stacey Abrams, 50%-45%.
