Indiana Democrats just kicked off our Big Dem Weekend with the annual Hoosier Hospitality Dinner — and you’ll never guess the speaker I had the honor of introducing tonight:

That’s right, none other than the Ragin’ Cajun, a.k.a, legendary Democratic strategist James Carville!

James has won a lot of races over the years and a line of his that always stays with me is, “It’s the economy, stupid.” At the end of the day, Hoosiers and folks across the country are looking to their leaders to deliver on good-paying jobs, lowering the costs of everyday purchases like groceries and prescription drugs, and creating lasting economic opportunities.

That’s why we’re all coming together this weekend for our Hoosier Hospitality Dinner and our state convention — to unite around our shared values and elect strong Democrats across the state who are ready to make these ideas a reality. You better believe I’m one of them.
