We know that you are probably receiving a lot of these emails. And you know that we don’t often ask for money. This year is different.
It’s different, because we have seen the rise of some of the most hateful, nationalist governments in the world. These regimes are determined to wipe out some of Mother Earth’s most precious resources and the communities that defend them, all in the name of accumulation.
At Ayni we see our work as a crucial piece of support for our communities during this cycle of the Pachakuti, or what our elders call the Great Turning. We use our limited resources to build a platform for the wisdom of Indigenous communities and to channel that wisdom into the social movements that will redefine the direction of our world.
