Dear John,

Bees are dying -- with potentially devastating impacts on our food system. And
bee-killing pesticides are largely to blame.

The Environmental Protection Agency has the power to eliminate these pesticides.
But pesticide companies like Bayer-Monsanto are lobbying hard for the agency to
do nothing. After all, they have millions in profits at stake.

More than 40,000 Friends of the Earth members like you spoke out to stop the EPA
from putting Bayer-Monsanto’s profits over bees and our food system. Now, we
need your help to turn up the heat. In honor of Giving Tuesday, will you help
save bees from toxic pesticides?

Help push the EPA to ban the use of bee-killing pesticides. This Giving Tuesday,
donate $27 or more and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar -- up to
$150,000!

The EPA has already concluded that bee-killing pesticides are “very highly
toxic” to bees. Yet despite this, the agency is continuing to allow these
pesticides to be used in our food system. And it’s even allowed increases in the
use of some bee-killing pesticides like sulfoxaflor.

Why is the EPA not acting to protect bees? Maybe because companies like
Bayer-Monsanto, Syngenta and Dow are fighting to ensure they can keep selling
their bee-toxic pesticides.

Help save bees from toxic pesticides: Donate now and your gift will be matched
dollar-for-dollar!

We know that these pesticide companies are doing everything possible to keep
their products on the market. They’re aiming to discredit the latest science and
stop the EPA from taking action.

We need to ramp up the pressure on the agency and demand that it follow the
science and not the direction of the pesticide industry. So at Friends of the
Earth, we’re working to shine a light on this crisis in the media. We’re raising
awareness with the public about the impact of toxic pesticides on our food
system. And we’re organizing across the country to make sure our voices are
louder than Bayer-Monsanto, Dow and Syngenta’s lobbyists. But we can’t do this
without you.

In honor of Giving Tuesday, donate to Friends of the Earth and protect bees and
our food system from bee-killing pesticides!
