Page became notorious for text messages she sent to FBI agent
Peter Strzok, with whom she was having an affair. Both were involved
in the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails and in the
Trump-Russia investigation. In the text messages, Strzok promised,
"we'll stop" Trump from getting elected. They also discussed an
"insurance policy" should Trump get elected, anyway.

Judicial Watch received 218 pages of disgraced former FBI
officials Peter Strzok-Lisa Page emails which show then-FBI General
Counsel James Baker instructing FBI officials to expedite the release
of FBI investigative material to Hillary Clinton’s lawyer, David
Kendall, in August 2016. Kendall and the FBI’s top lawyer discussed
specifically quickly obtaining the “302” report of the FBI/DOJ
interview of Clinton.

“These new Page-Strzok emails show the Obama FBI to be a mess
both professionally and ethically” said Judicial Watch President Tom
Fitton. “The best example of the ethical morass at the FBI are the
emails showing how a report on Judicial Watch’s disclosure that a
grand jury had been used in the Clinton email investigation set off a
spat between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.”

Strzok was reportedly removed from the Mueller investigative
team in August 2017 and reassigned to a human resources position after
it was discovered that he and then-FBI lawyer Lisa Page exchanged text
messages during the Clinton investigation and 2016 election season
that raised serious questions about his anti-Trump/pro-Clinton bias.
They were also engaged in an extramarital affair. Strzok infamously
texted “there’s no way he gets elected — but I’m afraid we
can’t take that risk.”
