Governor Kelly Proclaims June 19th "Juneteenth Day" in Kansas
?This year I proclaimed June 19th ?Juneteenth Day? here in Kansas. I participated in the Topeka Friends and Family Juneteenth Celebration Unity Walk and Flag raising ceremony on the south steps of the Capitol, and I met with students at The Kansas African American Museum in Wichita. I?invite every Kansan to participate in one of the many Juneteenth events taking place around the state this weekend.?
