Imagine working in Washington, D.C. during one of the most critical times in our nation’s history. The Young Leaders Program <[link removed]> selects undergraduate (eligible at 60 credit hours), graduate, law students, and recent graduates for
60+ positions across the organization. This paid, prestigious internship takes place in Washington, D.C. at The Heritage Foundation’s headquarters right on Capitol Hill. Interns gain hands-on work experience and training, including weekly briefings from experts on foreign, economic, and domestic policy. Interns receive mentorship and professional development and explore the foundations of American history and political thought through our First Principles series. As part of our 2025 Project <[link removed]>, we train our interns for future jobs in the Executive and Legislative branches of government.

Interns work in a wide variety of fields:

- Foreign and Domestic policy
- Economics
- Legal and Judicial Studies
- National Security
- Outreach and Event Planning
- Donor Relations
