Dear YIMBYs --
One of our priority bills, AB 2097 (ending parking minimums), is facing a major hurdle early next week. It will be heard in the Senate Housing Committee on Tuesday, and we need your help to get it passed.
Can you take a moment to call the Committee members to urge their vote on AB 2097?

As a reminder, AB 2097 will reduce housing costs and slash climate and air pollution by eliminating expensive parking mandates on new homes built near high-quality transit.
Thanks to your help, AB 2097 passed the Senate Governance and Finance Committee earlier this week and passed the Assembly floor last month.
While experts agree that parking minimums add to the cost of new housing while also encouraging car use that increases toxic air and climate pollution, this bill still faces an uphill battle!
We need to put some pressure on the Senate Housing Committee in advance of next Tuesday’s vote, so please take a moment to call the Committee members in support of this bill!

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we’re going to build a more sustainable, walkable, and habitable future for everyone.
Gratefully,
Team California YIMBY
