John, got a minute? It’s been a busy week, so I wanted to check in before you log off for the weekend. To recap: RealClearPolitics changed the rating of our race from “Lean Democratic” to “Toss-up” after new public polling showed Scott Jensen, our anti-choice, election denying, right-wing extremist opponent, in a statistical tie with Governor Walz.

When we saw the news, we immediately expanded our paid media and organizing programs to stop Jensen from gaining more ground. We thought we could rely on grassroots donations to cover the additional costs, but we’re still falling short.

I just ran the numbers, and here’s where we’re at: If we don’t raise at least $5,000 by midnight to make up the deficit, we will have no choice but to make budget cuts.

John, this would be the worst possible time to lose our momentum. Can you rush a donation by 11:59 pm to keep the governor’s office out of the hands of the GOP? It doesn’t look like there are any donations on file from you yet this year. There’s no better time to chip in than right now.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thank you,

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
