This week, I worked to pass bipartisan legislation to address inflation and lower costs for Granite State families. I have repeatedly called on the Biden administration to follow the House's lead and take aggressive action to combat rising prices for Americans.

I'm fighting to lower costs for the sake of Granite Staters and our economy.

Rising energy prices hurt New Hampshire families and drive inflation in other sectors – I’m working every day to address them.

On Thursday, I voted for legislation to address inflation and combat high prices by cutting costs for farmers, cracking down on anti-competitive behavior, and expanding cheaper fuel options. I will continue pushing my colleagues and the Biden administration to use every tool at our disposal to lower costs for New Hampshire.

I am working every day to address inflation and ensure every Granite Stater can afford nutritious food and fuel for their car.

I will continue working to strengthen American goods on the global stage.

Outrageous fees being charged by international ocean shipping companies are raising prices for American families, hurting our economy and fueling inflation. On Monday, I voted to crack down on exorbitant ocean shipping fees and help lower costs to support small businesses, farmers, and consumers.

I look forward to President Biden signing this plan into law to deliver much-needed relief.

Our Granite State producers are vital to our local economy — I am proud to bring their voices to Congress.

Our farmers and foresters are on the front lines of climate change — they feel the consequences long before other sectors experience the impact. That’s why it is so important that we invest in climate research and support our nation’s agricultural resiliency. 

This week in the Agriculture Committee, I urged my colleagues to fully recognize the role our producers play in combating climate change so farmers and foresters can maximize the carbon capture potential of their land.

I will continue fighting to protect our planet and wildlife.

I was proud to help pass the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act — bipartisan legislation I cosponsored — to make the most significant investments in wildlife and habitat conservation in a generation.

New Hampshire is home to the most beautiful natural environment in the world — I will continue working to protect it for future generations.

No family in America should go hungry.

This week in the Agriculture Committee, I urged my colleagues to join me in strengthening crucial nutrition assistance programs, beyond SNAP, to help mitigate hunger and expand the nutrition safety net. 

Earlier this week, I met with Jose Andreas to discuss improvements that we can make to food and nutrition policy in our country.

Nutrition assistance programs offer a lifeline to people across the country, especially as they face rising prices at the grocery store and the gas pump. I will continue working to tackle inflation, lower costs for Granite Staters, and ensure no family has to choose between putting food on the table or other essentials.

The January 6th Committee is doing critical work to expose the truth. We must ensure nothing like this can happen again.

The violent January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol was part of a coordinated effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election — thankfully, it failed this time, but the threat to our democracy is ongoing. Starting last week, we heard testimony from the former president's own inner circle about how he knew he lost the 2020 election but continued to spread lies about election fraud and attempted to stop the transfer of power.

Thanks to the dedicated work of our nation’s scientists, doctors, and nurses, safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines could be available as soon as next week for children as young as 6 months.

This is tremendous news for Granite State families and schools!
