Team — It’s Brittany Pettersen. It’s hard to believe it’s been over five months since the start of this campaign.

In that time, we’ve earned the support of community leaders across Colorado — including from my good friend Ed Perlmutter, who has endorsed me to succeed him in Congress. We’ve met virtually and in person with voters all across the district.

We’ve built an incredible grassroots team from scratch and, as the only Democrat appearing on the primary ballot, have officially clinched the Democratic nomination.

We’ve fought back against ugly, misleading GOP attacks — which got started virtually the same day I launched this campaign.

And all the while, I’ve done my job as a State Senator — passing bills to protect abortion rights and reduce costs for Colorado families — while still being a mom to my two-year-old son, Davis. (And as any parent can tell you, when you’re a mom, you’re a mom all day long.)

All of this is to say, folks, that we’ve come really far together, and I am beyond thankful for the incredible supporters like you who have propelled us to this point.

But I’m emailing you right now with an important ask. We’re just days away from the Colorado primary, and my friend Jason Crow and I need your help to defeat our GOP opponents and prepare for our General Election campaigns.
