Dear John,

Temperatures are rising, days are getting longer – summer is here! And most importantly, it’s PRIDE MONTH! San Franciscans embrace our diverse communities to ensure that everyone can live freely as who they are. While other states attack the rights of LGBTQ individuals, we fly the Pride Flag proudly to celebrate the history and honor the accomplishments of this community.

Please join Supervisor Matt Dorsey and me in marching in the Pride Parade on June 26!

The entire month of June reflects the strength of the LGBTQ community and our city’s commitment to LGBTQ rights and equality. I am proud to support increased funding to support the City’s goal of getting to zero new HIV infections, our commitment to end trans homelessness, and the creation of a new Drag Laureate program.  

As your Mayor, I will continue to work hard every day to make a difference for ALL San Franciscans – before, during, and after PRIDE month.
