Dear John,

I just wanted to reach out personally to say thank you so very much for your contribution to our 50th Anniversary Gala. Because of you and so many others who supported us so generously with time, passion, and resources, the event was a wonderful success. It was inspiring to be among so many friends and allies -- including CLASP alums from our whole fifty-year history -- and to hear from our special guests, including Annie E. Casey Foundation President Lisa Hamilton, UnidosUS President and CEO Janet Murguía, National Domestic Workers Alliance Executive Director Ai-Jen Poo, and Rep. Donna Shalala.

Our sould out dinner was a wonderful testament to the deep commitment our friends and allies bring to this work. I was especially gratified that we received so much support for the Judge Patricia Wald Fund and the GROW Fund, both of which will help to support CLASP's engagement with the next generation of leaders.

As I reflect on CLASP's 50 years, I am proud of and deeply grateful for the decades of incredible work that have brought us to this point -- and more mindful now than ever of the work ahead. My travels for our 50th Anniversary year have taken me around the country, and I have had a chance to hear first-hand both about the devastating impact of harmful policy decisions and divisive rhetoric -- and about the passion, commitment, and creativity that so many people all over the country are bringing to shaping a better and more just future. I have been deeply moved by the appreciation so many people have expressed for CLASP's partnership in both defending against harm and moving forward strategically towards a positive vision.

And I have heard a real sense of urgency about what lies ahead and about CLASP's central role as a powerful, skilled, and effective advocate At a time when our work is more important than ever, I pledge to keep CLASP on the front lines of policy battles that create economic fairness and racial justice for all Americans.

Thank you again John for your generous support and for standing with us in this important work.

I look forward to working with you in the months and years ahead.

Best,

Olivia Golden
