A just and equitable pandemic recovery must include the millions of people living with Long COVID, a community whose voices and suffering have been ignored for too long.
Across the country, millions of people have been living with the physical and mental anguish of Long COVID for months or even years.
Long COVID has had a prolonged impact on many of our most vulnerable individuals and families—particularly in Black, brown, and historically marginalized communities. It’s past time that these people get the care they deserve and need.
By helping folks with Long COVID get critical treatment right in their communities, the TREAT Long COVID Act will save lives and support our long-term recovery from this pandemic. The legislation will fund the expansion of Long COVID Clinics and ensure that health care providers—including community health centers and local public health departments—have the resources to care for Long COVID patients.
Our long haulers deserve accessible and affordable medical care and treatment now, and you can help make it a reality.
