Last night, Donald Trump endorsed one of my Republican opponents. With 16 months until Election Day, Trump's endorsement shows how badly the Republicans want to take back this governor's seat.

John – this proves what we already knew: This will be the biggest race in the country next year. I already have four Republican opponents, and Trump's endorsement means that this race is beginning to heat up. It's only a matter of time before outside money floods Kentucky again to try to defeat me.

I’m confident that if we keep our eyes on the prize, continue to engage directly with voters, and keep delivering for the Commonwealth, we can win next year and continue making progress for Kentuckians. But now that Trump has put national attention on this race, we need your early support.
