We wish we had better news, friend.

For months now, folks across the nation have been anxiously waiting for word on whether or not the Supreme Court will throw away fifty years of precedent on the right to abortion.

And then this morning, the Iowa Supreme Court dropped their own decision putting our reproductive freedoms in jeopardy.

Let’s get something out of the way real quick – abortion is *still* legal in Iowa.

But legal does not mean accessible, and Kim Reynolds and Iowa Republicans are now primed to add even more barriers to what is already a nearly impossible task for some Iowans. Will you stand with us in the fight to protect reproductive freedoms? [[link removed]]

Control over your own body is at the very heart of what it means to be free, as the late Chief Justice Mark Cady said when the Iowa Supreme Court affirmed that our state’s constitution protected the right to abortion.

Every Iowan should have the right to decide if, when, and with whom they have a family. You deserve to decide for yourself what your future looks like.
