Team,

Like many of you, Chris has always rejected the notion that we are powerless in the fight to end the senseless gun violence that plagues our country.

Last week Chris was proud to prove that we are capable of change by joining his colleagues in passing a package of bills in the House that will help save countless lives and stop the epidemic of gun violence in our communities.

These bills would create life-saving red flag laws and help keep firearms out of the hands of dangerous individuals. Chris will continue fighting to get common-sense gun laws passed to protect our children, families, and communities from more senseless – and preventable – danger.

Enough is enough. We can't continue to allow Congress to turn its back on those who were slaughtered – not when we know that change is possible. Here's the bottom line: The majority of Americans support common-sense gun safety legislation, and now Congress is taking the long-overdue steps towards this necessary reform – but there is still work to be done.

Join Chris in urging Senate Republicans to stand up to the gun lobby and pass this effective and crucial legislation. Add your name to the petition today>> [link removed]
