Katie has represented Orange County since 2018. Before that, she was a consumer protection advocate and a professor. Her work included taking on the five biggest banks that cheated California families after the '08 Wall Street crash, a job she was given by then-AG Kamala Harris.
As one of the only single moms in Congress, Katie is a CRUCIAL voice for our working families. She's taken on corruption, health care, inflation, abortion rights, and so much more.
