Happy Friday, South Florida!

This week, I was in Washington taking meetings and working on behalf of Florida's 27th District.

I look forward to addressing your cases, reading your letters, and responding to your social media comments. Please let me know what your thoughts are and never hesitate to reach out to my office. My team is more than happy to assist with any of your concerns and guide you through any challenges you may have with federal agencies.

It is truly the honor of a lifetime to fight for YOU in the halls of Congress!
Celebrating 10 Years of DACA
Wednesday, June 15th was the 10th anniversary of DACA.

Dreamers are Americans -- there's no other way to put it. More than 5,100 Dreamers live in our district, contributing $102 million each year to our local economy. They make our city better, but they live with uncertainty every single day. Dreamers are victims of a broken system, to no fault of their own, and Congress has failed to act.

Since coming to Congress, I've worked to solve this issue. In February, I introduced the DIGNITY Act, which includes a solution for Dreamers and those living in the shadows. Everyone deserves a life of Dignity, and everyone deserves a chance at redemption.

Bringing Miami Mayors to the Capitol
My favorite meetings while in D.C. are those with mi gente from Miami!

What a pleasure to have mayors from our community visit me in the Capitol! It's an honor to work alongside these leaders at the federal level.

Nicaragua Must Be Removed From CAFTA-DR!
Last week, we learned that Daniel Ortega has officially welcomed Russian troops, planes, and ships into Nicaragua.

Following the announcement, Russian media touted the deal as a power move against the United States.

For months, my colleagues and I have warned about Russia's infiltration in Latin America -- particularly Nicaragua, following the farce presidential elections last November. For over a year, I've called on the President to review their eligibility. There is absolutely no reason Daniel Ortega should have access to American markets.
