Dear John,

We didn’t pick small fights this year. Together with our 20 affiliate organizations, we are organizing to reclaim the economy and governance of our cities for the working families that have built them. That means taking on forces much bigger than us, like billionaire tech corporations, private equity companies, and major corporate polluters who value their profits more than the safety or dignity of our neighbors, our community. put profits above the safety of the air we breathe and the water we drink.

Will you donate to Partnership for Working Families [[link removed]] on #GivingTuesday?

At the Partnership, we believe everyone has a right to live in a thriving neighborhood. That includes good jobs for all, housing for all, excellent schools, accessible and available transportation, and much more.

In 2019, these are some of the campaigns that we took on:
* We Make This City: We grew our campaign across 10 cities fighting for affordable housing, clean water, public education and transit

* Fighting State Preemption:  Supporting campaigns predominantly led by women of color for tenant protections, paid sick days and minimum wage increases, and exposing the systemic sexism and racism that plays out in our state legislatures as they seek to block these measures.

* Launching Athena, a new coalition of 40-plus grassroots organizations fighting to end Amazon’s stranglehold on our democracy.

We are looking forward to continuing our efforts into 2020 and beyond. To do so, we need your support. Please consider giving today. Any contribution will make a difference, and your contribution is fully tax deductible.
