Betty's primary opponent is on the attack – with blatantly false information. In a since-deleted Tweet, she falsely accused Betty of not supporting a newly introduced bill – the Stop Price Gouging in the Military Act (H.R. 8007). In fact, Betty was one of the FIRST co-sponsors of this bill to protect taxpayers.
It’s frustrating enough that with our Democratic House Majority under constant attack from Republicans, Betty also has an opponent spending nearly a million dollars to undermine her important work and defeat her in the August 9th DFL Primary!
Trying to deceive and mislead voters about Betty’s stellar record of protecting taxpayers – something she's done her entire career – is just unacceptable.
