Team -- we’re three public hearings into the House select committee’s investigation on the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, and here’s what we’ve learned so far:

1. Donald Trump lost the 2020 election fair and square -- and he knew it.
2. Once he knew he had lost, Trump and his allies systematically coordinated a plan to overthrow the results.
3. Their plan included inciting a violent mob to attack the United States Capitol before the electoral votes could be certified by Congress.

We know Trump’s MO -- but exposing his lies does nothing to stop him from moving full speed ahead with whatever scheme he thinks will keep him in power. The only way we can stop the MAGA movement for good is at the ballot box. Chip in to The American SOS Project right now to fight against Trump and his election denying candidates:

Now, I’m going to go out on a limb here, but stay with me: Consider for a moment that you’re Donald Trump. (Not fun, I know.)

You came within a few thousand votes in a few key states from securing a second term in the White House. And the thing that really threw a wrench in your reelection ambitions was Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who refused to “find” 11,780 votes that would’ve manufactured victory there.

It’s two years later, and you have a chance to replace public officials like Raffensperger with folks who not only agree with you that the 2020 election was “stolen,” but parrot every lie you’ve spouted about voter fraud and election security to cast doubt on future elections, too.

Wouldn’t you be doing everything in your power to make sure the principled folks are ousted from office and your own Big Lie-believing pals are installed?

If you said yes, you nailed it -- that’s exactly what Trump is doing in states like Nevada, Michigan, and New Mexico, where election deniers have won the GOP nominations for secretary of state.

Here’s a scary thought: Next time around, Trump won’t need a January 6th. There won’t be an angry mob after the election, because he’ll have laid the groundwork ahead of time to make sure there’s no possible way he can lose in the first place.

We can’t let that happen. But if we don’t take action before this November’s elections, by 2024 it’ll be too late. So I’m asking: Will you donate whatever you can right now to support The American SOS Project’s work to defeat Trump’s candidates in key battleground states this fall?

This is too important to ignore, so thank you for stepping up and getting involved.
