'The Amazon is a lawless land'

Journalist Dom Phillips and Bruno Araújo Pereira were killed in the Amazon while researching a book looking at the challenges facing Brazil's indigenous people. Index spoke to one of the people who last saw them alive.

It is deeply disappointing that Home Secretary Priti Patel has approved the extradition of the Wikileaks founder to the United States, where he will face charges under the Espionage Act.
