2️⃣ The U.S. recovery has been the envy of the world: Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, the U.S. economy is projected to be larger at the end of this year -- relative to its pre-pandemic size -- than any other Group of 7 economy.
Bipartisan effort to pass commonsense gun laws
Last week, President Biden met with Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) to discuss gun violence prevention legislation to make our communities safer.
This week, a bipartisan group of senators announced a framework to curb gun violence and improve school safety and mental health programs. These steps would be the most significant gun safety legislation to pass Congress in decades.
