He co-sponsored the Life at Conception Act which would ban all abortions and even certain types of contraception;
Signed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court asking Roe and Casey be overturned;
Accepted thousands in gun lobbyist money just days after the Uvalde shooting;
Stood with the fossil fuel industry and voted against a bill to combat greedy price gouging in the wake of excessive fuel costs;
On January 6th attack, he palled around with armed insurrections and Marjory Taylor Green, then proceeded to vote against the certification of the 2020 election.
I could go on and on here, but you get the picture. Every single time Mike Garcia has a choice of voting in the interests of the people of the district, he picks standing with lobbyists and corporate interests instead.
With so many urgent issues facing our nation, we cannot wait around for out of touch politicians like Mike Garcia to get a moral backbone.
