Teaching Logic & Reasoning
The classroom acts as a microcosm of a civic society where the practice of engaging in civil dialogue that respectfully challenges arguments from the point of logic and reason allows students to understand what it means to participate in a free society. Students come to understand how standards of logic can unify and serve as a tool for human connection. This course will provide teachers with additional support in teaching the logic and reasoning skills students require for participation in a Socratic based classroom.

Presidents & The Constitution
Explore the controversies that have shaped the executive branch and American constitutionalism, society, and domestic and foreign policy. This virtual asynchronous course captures the dramatic and compelling stories and episodes in the history of the American presidency.
"I love the lessons provided through this academy. It took targeted issues and provided an in-depth look at where I know I fell short. It gave me some added information that I can present to my students that will benefit their understanding of some of the core principles of our government. The activities are new and I believe that the students will be very engaged in them which will just further their understanding."
