Clean Air Day was 16 June

Thursday 16 June was Clean Air Day. But clean air is not just for one day, it's everyday. We are working to contribute to cleaner air. Take a look at what we've been up to here.

Changes to the Highway Code

Changes to the Highway Code came into force on 29 January. For the official updates, please find them here.

Updates on mobile phone use

From Friday 25 March rules in The Highway Code came into force making any hand-held use of a mobile phone while driving illegal, except in limited circumstances. See the updates here.

Rail operators are advising people not to travel during this time as there will be severe disruption, cancelled services and no replacement buses.

There might be disruption to services due to driver availability issues. Please check service providers for the most up to date information. 

All operators in the city continue to clean vehicles thoroughly on a regular basis, and windows on buses will be kept open for ventilation.

Lane closures for the construction of new cycle route between Kersall Drive & Bestwood Road 

Monday 21 February 2022 - Wednesday 31 August 2022: Silverdale roundabout
Lane closures on Silverdale roundabout and approaches from the A52 and A453 for National Highways junction improvements.

In the final phase they'll address the two larger western junctions, Nottingham Knight and Wheatcroft. Find more detailed information on National Highways website.
