Texas Governor Abbott has always been pro-gun, anti-choice, and anti-voting rights.
When my opponent, Mr. Trone, was asked why he donated $45,000 to Governor Abbott, and other extremist pro-gun, anti-choice Republicans, he said, “I sign my checks to buy access.”
Trone donated $45,000 to Abbott. Can you donate $45 to help me beat him?

Trone can afford to spend $45,000 to “buy access” while many people in MD-6 struggle to buy gas. And real Democrats from Gaithersburg to Garrett County sure don’t give to Governor Abbott!

I don’t know what Rep. Trone really believes after giving to Abbott and Paxton and others. But here is what I do know – his donations to “buy access” have consequences. When money is the fuel driving our political system – which it unfortunately is – he might think it makes sense to donate to someone like Gov. Abbott. But let’s be honest about the consequences.
Expanded gun access means more gun deaths and school shootings.
And without Roe v. Wade, politicians like Gov. Abbott will finally get their way and outlaw abortion.
Big Money and self-serving donors “buying influence” put right-wing extremists like Abbott and Paxton in office.
We only get one Representative in Congress. We can do better!
