Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom leads five virtual ag tours

*St. Paul, MN* - More than 55 teachers from across Minnesota will join Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom [ [link removed] ] beginning Tuesday, June 21, 2022 for the first of five agriculture tours to help educators learn and plan curriculum for the fall.

Four of the five tours will take place in-person this year, with a fifth taking place virtually:


* Tuesday, June 21, 2022-Thursday, June 23, 2022: Agriculture - Local to Global [ [link removed] ], Waconia, MN.
* Tuesday, July 12: Cows, Creamery, and Cooperage [ [link removed] ], Park Rapids, MN.
* Wednesday, July 20, 2022: High Tech Farming [ [link removed] ], St. Peter, MN.
* Tuesday, July 26, 2022: From Field to French Fry [ [link removed] ], virtual tour.
* Thursday, July 28, 2022: Twin Cities Teacher Tour [ [link removed] ], Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom is a public/private partnership between the Minnesota Department of Agriculture [ [link removed] ] and Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation that provides free curriculum, educational resources, grants, outreach, and professional development opportunities to increase ag literacy through K-12 education.
