Hi there, this is big news.

Wisconsin's Supreme Court sided with the voters of this state and enacted Gov. Evers' redistricting proposal. This decision is an absolute game-changer – we just became one of the most competitive districts in the entire country overnight.

It's a huge boost for this campaign, but it means nothing unless we capitalize on this moment. So before I go any further, I've got to ask – can you rush a contribution of $5 or more to help me flip this freshly-drawn district blue? >>>

Republicans in our state legislature tried desperately to cling to their majority, submitting only maps that would benefit them for the next decade or more, just like they did in 2010. They called in every favor and tried using every legal loophole to maintain their legislative control. Thankfully, the court saw through their deception and chose to side with what matters most in elections — the voters.

Let me be clear, this is not a victory lap or celebration for our campaign. These new maps were drawn to make our elections fair, and ensure each district is representative of its people.

All that's changed in this race is this: we went from a long-shot in a gerrymandered district to a true contender in a fairly drawn one. But our work is far from over. Bryan Steil and his special interest funders won't go down without a fight, and they'll bring out every dirty trick they can to hang on to this seat.

Now – right now – is when I need your help to reach voters and fight back against the attacks that are headed my way.

I am confident that I'm the best candidate to represent this district — but I know that my work is cut out for me. Please, pitch in $5 or whatever you can to help me capitalize on this momentum, and be the representative this district deserves.

The battle over redistricting may be over, but it shows just how far Republicans are willing to go to stay in power. They'll continue to put up a fight, but I'm ready for the challenge.

We need a voice of reason in Congress, and I will be that voice. My top priority will always be you, the people of Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District.

Let's get to work.
