Yesterday, EPPC President Ryan T. Anderson went on EWTN News Nightly to discuss the recent statement against pro-life groups that was given by the group calling itself “Jane’s Revenge,” which makes it clear that the group has and will continue to promote violence against pregnancy centers. Anderson speaks on the group’s actions, the legality of public intimidation, and whether there is a way to prosecute such an anonymous group.

EPPC President Signs Letter Demanding DOJ Respond to Attacks on Pregnancy Centers

Yesterday, EPPC President Ryan T. Anderson signed a letter with over two dozen other organizations expressing concern over the increased attacks against churches, pregnancy resource centers and pro-life organizations in the aftermath of the leaked draft opinion in the Supreme Court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The letter calls on Attorney General Merrick Garland and Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Kristen Clarke to publicly condemn these unlawful attacks; to commit to vigorous efforts to prevent them, and to investigate and prosecute them; and to proactively engage with the affected faith communities to ensure their concerns and security needs are being met.

On Tuesday, Ryan moderated a panel at the Heritage Foundation: The Effect of Access to Puberty Blockers and Cross-Sex Hormones on Youth Suicide Rates. The expert panel explored a new study that found that easing minors’ access to cross-sex medical interventions is associated with a significant increase in the adolescent suicide rate.
