He really understands how to get things done in Washington, but more importantly, he understands our local community in Pinellas County. As a St. Petersburg native, Eric knows and faces the same issues as everyone else in Pinellas County, everything from dealing with the lingering effects of Red Tide or fighting to improve the public schools that his kids attend.

As great of a candidate as Eric is, this is not going to be an easy race.
Republicans have indicated that Florida's 13th district will be a top target for them in 2022. Whoever wins the GOP primary will be a hard-right, Trump Republican, and we expect this will be one of the most competitive campaigns in the country.
Eric is a proven leader and has earned the trust of President Obama, multiple Secretaries of Defense, and countless world leaders during his time as a public servant. I trust him to fight for us in Washington, to improve the lives of everyone in Pinellas County, and to stand up for American values worldwide.
