From one generation to the next, the Malay Muslim community in Singapore continues to play an integral role in our nation building. Actions taken by earlier generations have enabled the community to progress in tandem with our nation. We have come a long way, but there is more to be done.
The People's Action Party’s Malay Affairs Bureau (MAB) launched MAB Muda, a youth movement that welcomes our youths to take action for the Malay Muslim community. Co-chaired by Members of Parliament Nadia Ahmad Samdin and Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim, MAB Muda provides our Malay Muslim youths with a keen interest in politics to reflect their concerns to policymakers and create change. A recent survey of 162 Malay Muslim youths in Singapore reflected the need of active citizenry for their hopes and aspirations to be heard.
Our youths want to make a difference and we stand with them to co-create solutions for a better Singapore that they can resonate with. Read more.
