Bahrain Court Delays Verdict on Death Row Torture Victims to Christmas Day

Bahrain’s High Criminal Appeals Court has delayed a judgment due on November 27th in the case of Mohamed Ramadhan and Husain Moosa. Both men had previously been sentenced to death on the basis of torture-tainted confessions. The verdict will now be issued on Christmas Day, showing Bahrain's tendency to bury controversial news on days when Western legislators and media are preoccupied.
