For years, they told us immigrants and refugees could never win—that we're not “electable.” But today, we're proving that when #PeopleLikeUs run, we win! Of the 264 candidates we tracked this year, 67% of first generation Americans who ran for office in the general election won, while 74% of second generation Americans who ran in the general election won.
Let’s be clear: This is HUGE! And YOU can be part of this transformation.
The more New Americans are in office and positions of power, the stronger our movement gets—and that’s because of you. But the work is far from done, which is why we need the contributions today.
