After we reached out about our $25,000 grassroots goal yesterday, we saw a big uptick in donations that got us about halfway there — but our online fundraising today has been slower than normal and I’m worried that we won’t be able to hit this goal before our midnight deadline.
Goals like these are critical for our campaign because Lucas doesn’t take any money from corporate PACs or mega-donors. We’re people-powered, so setting + reaching these benchmarks helps us stay on track for our larger goals (like our upcoming end-of-quarter!) and have the resources to keep reaching undecided voters with Lucas’ message of putting everyday people in charge of our country.
