Carissa here from Hillary Scholten’s campaign for Congress. One of the reasons I’m so excited to be working to elect Hillary as West Michigan’s first-ever Democratic Congresswoman is her proven record of fighting for working people.

As the daughter of a union member, and previous union steward herself, Hillary knows firsthand how vital unions are to Michigan’s economy. In her time practicing law, Hillary has represented people facing discrimination and unsafe working conditions — in Congress, she will be a voice for working people and will never stop fighting to make our economy work for all of us.

We’re so excited to share that Hillary has already been endorsed by multiple labor groups here in the district, including the West Michigan United Auto Workers, the Michigan branch of the American Federation of Teachers, and the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, as well as the Michigan AFL-CIO.
