Our recount request was accepted last week by the Texas Democratic Party. Remember, only 281 votes stand between Jessica and Henry Cuellar.
We’re not letting up on this fight for the future of South Texas — just heading into a recount alone shows how out of touch Cuellar is with the district and how ready our community is for change. We are done with the same old representation.
We want to make sure we have the resources we need to make sure every ballot cast in the runoff election is counted faithfully and accurately. That is why we are requesting a recount — and the recount starts tomorrow.
