Hello John!

It is once again my pleasure to announce that Team Nika has received endorsements from two VERY BIG names.

Rep Nika has received the endorsements of Former Boston Mayor Kim Janey and Boston political giant Mel King.

Mayor Kim Janey was the first Black person and the first woman to ever serve as the mayor of Boston and Mel King is a community activist and in 1983, became the first Black mayoral candidate to clear the preliminary.

We are honored to receive these endorsements from these two Boston political legions. Team Nika keeps growing with strong support across the district and city. Can you make a donation to help us keep growing our team?

Rep Nika, in her own statement, said Janey’s endorsement “means the world to me,” and called King a mentor. “No one understands my heart for justice as he does,” Elugardo said. “And no one could have taught me more than he has about how to deliver change in a way that lasts.”
