Today’s January 6th Select Committee Hearing was just as devastating as the last. We learned that:

Trump
lawyer
John
Eastman
knew
his
scheme
to
have
Vice
President
Pence
overturn
the
2020
election
was
unconstitutional
and
begged
Pence
to
go
along
with
it
anyway
2.
Trump
knew
that
the
Capitol
had
been
breached
when
he
publicly
attacked
Pence
on
Twitter
3.
Pence
only
missed
the
violent
mob
trying
to
kill
him
by
40ft


Ultimately, witness Judge Luttig made sure to conclude today’s hearing with a warning: the existential threat posed to the Constitution by the January 6th Insurrection remains:

"To this very day, Trump and his supporters pledge that if the former President or his anointed successor... were to lose… they would attempt to overturn that 2024 election in the same way that they attempted to overturn the 2020 election."

We only know the truth of what happened on January 6th because Democrats won, the election was upheld, and the Select Committee decided to conduct their thorough investigation despite objections and boycotts from The 147.

If Democrats don’t hold the house in November, any truth that has yet to be uncovered will be lost forever, and the next insurrection will be a question of when, not if.
