Bo Hines opposes gay marriage.

In February, the House passed the Equality Act.

This is incredibly important legislation, especially given the rise in hate crimes and violence that the LGBTQ community has faced nationwide. So I thought I’d ask you your opinion:

I have worked to further these goals by authoring the “Equality for All Act” in the State Senate and cosponsoring the Hate Crimes Prevention Act. I also authored the bill to fully repeal HB2 (The NC bathroom bill.)

In Congress, I will continue to support legislation that moves us toward a more equal society, and always stand up for the rights of the LGBTQ community.

We must stand up for our LGBTQ neighbors at all times, and even more so now as they face increased discrimination and hateful legislation in Republican states.
