Dear John, Over the past week, we've heard testimony and seen evidence that Trump and his accomplices attempted a coup, and that it culminated in the violence on January 6th. Let me be clear: This was a direct attack against our democracy, and we need to hold those responsible accountable. Trump knew that he lost the election, but he spread misinformation, with lasting consequences. The January 6th committee has worked diligently to uncover the truth of what happened.
