The Maryland Primary Election will be held on July 19, 2022. As this date is quickly approaching, mail-in ballots have already been sent to registered voters in Maryland's Fifth District. Every eligible household in Maryland will have the opportunity to vote in this year's primary by mail. Voting by mail is safe and convenient. Ballots are already arriving in mailboxes, so be sure to check your mailbox today and over the next few days to make sure you have received your ballot.
Voting by mail is very easy - just fill out your ballot, sign the envelope, and drop it in the mail or at designated drop box locations. Postage is pre-paid for ballots received by mail, so you don't need to add a stamp. All ballots must be postmarked no later than July 19 to be counted.
The deadline to register for your mail-in ballot is July 12, and you can do that here. Ballots are only going to be sent to those who request them. If you do not receive a ballot in the mail within the next week, please call your local board of elections and they will send one to you.
