The UK government proposed changes to trade procedures that have created tensions with the EU in the aftermath of Brexit.

Changes were proposed to the Northern Ireland trade protocol, which was established under the deal agreed to by the UK and EU when Britain left the EU. Yesterday, legal action was taken against the UK for not abiding by the Northern Ireland Protocol.

Streamlining the VA’s Processes for Covering Veterans Who Were Exposed to Toxic Substances (H.R. 3967)

The Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act of 2021 would streamline the Dept. of Veterans Affairs process for determining what toxic exposures can be covered under VA care.

The Senate is expected to vote on this bill as amended.
